Audrey Horne
Bio
Named after Sherilynn Fenn’s on-screen character in the David Lynch series Twin Peaks, Audrey Horne is a hard rock band from the Norwegian city of Bergen that offers a mix of heavy and melodic classic rock inspired by the heavy hitters from the metal and hard rock world.
Their biggest influences include the likes of Iron Maiden, Kiss, Ozzy Osbourne, Van Halen, Mötley Crüe, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. Some of the band members earned their stripes in a totally different genre of metal: Arve Isdal is a guitarist for Enslaved while his colleague Thomas Tofthagen does the same for Sagh. Their interest in classic hard rock brought them into contact with Torkjell ‘Toschie’ Rød and drummer Kjetil Greve, and together they formed Audrey Horne in 2002. They’ve released a total of seven albums so far, with ‘Devil’s Bell’ as their latest outing.
