Naming your band for one of the most notorious serial killers in history, Ed Gein, creates certain expectations but this American deathcore outfit has no trouble meeting them. Bodysnatcher create music at a frantic pace, with short intervals between albums and EPs. Highlights include ‘Death of Me’ (2017), the crushing ‘This Heavy Void’ (2020) and their most recent effort ‘Bleed-Abide’ (2022). Meanwhile the Floridians continue to roam live stages all over the world to deliver their heavy-hitting brand of deathcore: genuine, unapologetic and unadulterated.
