Hell City have taken just five years to establish themselves as a household name on the Belgian metal scene.
What started out as the perfect excuse to play heavy riffs and crack a few beers led to the release of an acclaimed EP with ‘Here Comes the Sin’ (2009). The rest, as they say, is history. Their 2012 full-length debut ‘Demons to Rest’ delivered on the promise shown by their maiden EP. Real talent rarely goes unnoticed and Hell City managed to snare none other than Mikey Doling (Snot, Soulfly, Channel Zero) as the producer for their sophomore outing. With the support of Alcatraz music, ’Victorious’ (2014) earned them slots at Out and Loud (2015), GMM (2015) and Summer Breeze (2016). Meanwhile fate struck Hell City a cruel blow with the untimely demise of bassist Michael Konovaloff. While some bands fold in the face of adversity, the tragedy moulded Hell City into an even tighter unit, both personally and as a band. Hell City are carving out a promising future for themselves and they’re racking up live credits along the way. Successfully touring countries such as the UK, France, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands has enabled them to hone their skills and fans and critics agree that the new ‘Flesh & Bones’ (2018) album will catapult Hell City into the big leagues. Hell City combine the best of what heavy metal and hard rock have to offer so don’t miss out!
