Alcatraz Line up: 2017

When drummer Vinny Appice (ex-Black Sabbath, ex-Heaven And Hell), bassist Jimmy Bain (ex-Rainbow, ex-Thin Lizzy) and guitarist Vivian Campbell (ex-Whitesnake, Def Leppard), once the backbone of the successful solo band of the late Ronnie James Dio, get together with singer Andrew Freeman (ex-The Offspring, ex-George Lynch) for some old-school jamming, things become pretty serious when record label Frontiers sees potential in the group. They release the album 'Heavy Crown', unfortunately one month after bass player Jimmy loses his fight against lung cancer in January 2016. What better way of paying tribute to your fallen band member by honoring the music you wrote together? So with the reinforcement of keyboard player Erik Norlander and bassist Phil Soussan (ex-Ozzy Osbourne, ex-Billy Idol, ex-Toto) Appice, Campbell and Freeman are bringing Last In Line out to European stages this summer!
