American musician, singer, songwriter and producer Brant Bjork’s biggest claim to fame is as the drummer and co-founder of ‘desert’ stoner rock band Kyuss but this year he’s bringing the Brant Bjork Trio.
He’s a musical centipede: in addition to playing in Vista Chino together with former Kyuss bandmates John Garcia and Nick Oliveri, he also manned the kit for Fu Manchu in the closing years of the millennium. A few years ago he effortlessly blew everyone away at Alcatraz as the frontman of stoner power trio Stöner and over the years he’s also been very prolific as a solo artist with ‘Bougeainvillea Suite’ (2022) as his most recent outing.
