The band set themselves apart not only with Midnight's soaring, expressive vocals but also through intricate guitar harmonies and sophisticated song structures. Their milestone albums 'Crimson Glory' (1986) and 'Transcendence' (1988) remain influential genre classics that inspired countless bands in their wake.
