Alcatraz Line up: 2017

High up our wishlist for quite some time, a band who created a whole new sound and kickstarted the nu-metal genre with their 1993 debut album: KoRn! Twenty four years later the band has completed several worldwide tours, sold about 40 million (!!) albums, is still standing strong and hasn’t shied away of reinventing themselves or trying new things. Like releasing the heavily dubstep influenced album ‘The Path Of Totality’. Trying to please both negative and positive critics, they struck back with the ‘The Paradigm Shift’ album in 2013. On the back of all that refound confidence, the band puts out ‘The Serenity Of Suffering’ in 2016, containing songs with that undeniable signature KoRn sound. With guitarist Head back on board since a few years, the five piece band plays tighter than ever live. As can testify a full Lotto Arena venue in Antwerp earlier in March this year. But above all, KoRn is a top class band ready to fire up our Alcatraz festival!
