Metalcore with a healthy dose of electronica – or how a Belgian band treats a rusty genre to a much-needed headbutt. The pandemic wasn’t good for much but at least it provided the motivation to form Secondhand Saints.
The sextet, including two vocalists, took the gradual but intelligent approach and worked their socks off to establish a solid live reputation. Their maiden single Shattered Floors’ drew attention and local music clubs were quick to embrace Secondhand Saints but it won’t stop there. Their debut ‘Chemistry’ (2023) is not only an impressive studio effort, they also know how to translate that visceral energy to the live stage.
