Hailing from Munich, Germany, Tenside celebrated their 20th anniversary last year with the release of ‘Come Alive Dying’ (2024).
Forming in 2004, they dropped their first demo ‘Insolence’, in 2005. That same year, they won a band contest hosted by Antenne Bayern and performed at the Young-and-Free Festival in Nuremberg in front of over 25,000 people. Their debut album ‘My Personal War’ arrived in early 2007, followed by extensive touring across Germany and Europe. Over the years, Tenside has built a strong presence in the metal scene, sharing the stage with acts like Ektomorf, Stuck Mojo, DevilDriver, Hatebreed, Soulfly, Sacred Reich and Trivium. Their energetic blend of modern metalcore, groove and melody has earned them slots at major festivals across Europe. Their 2020 long player ‘Glamour & Gloom’ reached #45 on the German charts, marking their highest entry to date. Fans of Killswitch Engage, In Flames and Caliban will not want to miss Tenside.
