This Dutch hard rock formation built an international reputation in the 80s. They threw in the towel on several occasions but always rekindled the flame and now they are back to their former glory.
Vengeance first made waves with ‘We Have Ways to Make You Rock’. The following year ‘Take It or Leave It’ solidified their reputation but it was 1989’s ‘Arabia’ that left an indelible impression on critics and fans alike. The line-up proved mercurial. Guitarists Oscar Holleman and Arjen Lucassen, bassist Barend Courbois and vocalist Ian Perry were all in the band at one point but eventually preferred to embark on a solo career. The 2023 incarnation is going strong with old hands Leon Goewie (vocals) and John Emmen (drums) at the helm.
