Bio
Witch Club Satan is a Norwegian feminist black metal band consisting of Johanna Holt Kleive (drums, vocals), Nikoline Spjelkavik (guitar, vocals) and Victoria Røising (bass, vocals).
The band was formed in 2022 after the three met at theater school. They started as a theatrical project and gradually taught themselves to play instruments to bring their musical vision in black metal to life. Their music is heavily influenced by legendary Norwegian black metal bands like Mayhem, Darkthrone, Emperor and Satyricon. Witch Club Satan is known for their powerful feminist message and their shows and videos often include nudity and occult symbols. Their self-titled debut album was released in March 2024, and their music video for 'Fresh Blood Fresh Pussy' was nominated for a major music award in Norway.
