Alcatraz Line up: 2024

The international quintet Ankor has its home base in Catalonia and in addition to two guitarists/vocalists and a bassist from Spain the line-up is completed by an English singer/screamer and a Greek drummer. The alternative rock/metal band was founded in 2003 near Barcelona, when the members were just 13 years old. Two full decades and several line-up changes later they have released five full studio-albums, with ‘White Dragon’ as their last offering to date. They started out as a power metal band but since the addition of vocalist Jessie Williams they have steered a more alternative course and really starting to make their mark, including at this year’s Alcatraz festival.
