Old school death metal with a new school sound. Pumping bass and stomping guitars. For two decades, The Lucifer Principle has steered an unrelentingly groovy course. The Dutch death metal five piece emerged in 2004 and made a lasting impression in the Low Countries with their albums ‘Pitch Black Dawn’ (2007) and ‘Welcome to Bloodshed’ (2009). However, the death metal stalwarts based in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, played dead on the recording front for eight years before spawning their third album …’Play Dead’ in 2017. Their last album to date once again features Swedish-style death metal but this time supplemented with thrash elements.
