Founded in 1969, UFO is one of the oldest hard rock bands still around! Singer Phil Mogg and drummer Andy Parker are two members of the original lineup, and veteran Paul Raymond on keyboards has been with them since eternity as well. If you know that Raymond already passed the mark of seventy, you could call guitarist Vinnie Moore and bassist Rob De Luca the young guns of the band. With them around, UFO is having a second wind, and continuing their long career. At their height in the seventies, hard rock’s most talented “bad boy” Michael Schenker composed hits “Doctor Doctor”, “Lights Out”, “Only You Can Rock Me" and "Rock Bottom". Thanks to these songs UFO claimed a big part of hard rock’s heritage. The influence of UFO on bands such as Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and countless others, is undeniable. UFO is still “Too Hot to Handle” and coming to Alcatraz Festival!
