Formed in 1996 as an alliance of death metal masters, Arch Enemy quickly incorporated melodic twists into their music without losing their aggressive DNA.
In 2014, Angela Gossow handed over the mic to Alissa White-Gluz, who has since become a frontwoman whose icy screams prove that girl power in metal can be both stylish and ruthless. In 2025, they released 'Blood Dynasty', their first full album with guitarist Joey Concepcion after Jeff Loomis left to focus on the reunion with his old band Nevermore, also appearing at our festival this year. Arch Enemy's new album reaffirms that melodic death metal can be merciless and irresistible, with badass frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz effortlessly owning the pit.
